Naomi Spencer
Managing Director | Senior Holistic Therapist | Educator
Naomi Spencer is the founder and Managing Director of Holistic Hands of Purbeck and Holistic Hands of Purbeck Training Academy. With a career in holistic therapy and wellbeing spanning two decades, Naomi first began her professional training in 2006 and has continued to develop an extensive portfolio of qualifications and specialist skills.
An experienced Senior Holistic Therapist, Naomi is trained across a wide range of massage and wellbeing therapies, with particular interests in individualised therapeutic care, reflexology, Reiki and supporting clients through different stages of their health and wellbeing journey. She is a Reiki Master and has undertaken specialist training in pregnancy and oncology massage, enabling her to adapt treatments sensitively for clients with more complex needs.
Naomi believes strongly that holistic therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all experience. Her approach is centred around taking the time to understand each client as an individual and creating treatments that are appropriate to their physical and emotional needs. Client care, professionalism, compassion and excellent aftercare remain at the heart of everything she does.
Alongside her clinical work, Naomi is an experienced educator and the driving force behind Holistic Hands of Purbeck Training Academy. As a qualified educator, she is passionate about raising standards within the holistic and wellness industry and supporting both new and established therapists to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence. Through the Academy, Naomi delivers professionally accredited and insurable training in a supportive, small-group learning environment.
Naomi is committed to continued professional development and regularly undertakes further training to expand and update her knowledge. She has received industry recognition and awards for her work within the wellness sector and is a long-standing practitioner member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
For clients who are unsure which treatment would be most appropriate, Naomi offers complimentary telephone consultations, allowing time to discuss individual circumstances before recommending a treatment or treatment plan.
Jodie Cuthbert
Beauty & Holistic Therapist
Jodie is an experienced Beauty and Holistic Therapist who has worked within the beauty and wellbeing industry since qualifying in Level 3 Beauty Therapy in 2009.
Her career has included working within professional salons, running her own beauty business and providing mobile treatments, giving Jodie a wealth of experience in both treatments and client care.
She joined Naomi at Holistic Hands of Purbeck after the pair first met in 2020 and has since become a valued member of the team.
Jodie offers a wide range of beauty and holistic treatments and is particularly known for her attention to detail and creative approach to nails. She has a natural artistic flair and creates many of her nail art designs freehand, tailoring them to each individual client.
Waxing is another area Jodie particularly enjoys, and she takes great pride in helping clients feel comfortable, confident and at ease throughout their appointments.Friendly, approachable and professional, Jodie is passionate about creating an enjoyable experience for every client and ensuring they leave the salon feeling cared for and confident.
Amy Latham
Hairdresser | Reception & Administration
Amy combines her role as a professional Hairdresser with an important reception and administrative role within Holistic Hands of Purbeck.
With experience across reception, administration, customer service and hairdressing, Amy brings a valuable combination of organisation, professionalism and creativity to the team. Her background in customer-facing roles has given her a strong understanding of client care and the importance of making people feel genuinely welcome from the moment they contact or arrive at the salon.
As a qualified Hairdresser, Amy enjoys building relationships with her clients and providing a friendly, relaxed and professional experience. She takes time to understand what each client is looking for and is passionate about helping them feel confident and comfortable with their hair.
Alongside her hairdressing, Amy plays a key role behind the scenes and at reception, helping to manage appointments, enquiries and the day-to-day administration of the salon.
Warm, approachable and highly organised, Amy is often one of the first members of the team our clients speak to and is an integral part of creating the welcoming and professional environment we pride ourselves on at Holistic Hands of Purbeck.
