I am now in a rural location which is very quiet and private with plenty of parking. However, as we are coming into the darker winter months very quickly, if you are attending an evening appointment with me, I highly recommend you research your route prior to travel. I have updated all my social media platforms to reflect the changes, and I am also in the process of making changes on my google business page which should also update onto google maps shortly.
I am very excited about the move as it’s a much nicer space with lots of potential. As many of you know I live in wool, and the journey takes me approximately 15 minutes from home, so it is still relatively local. For those of you who know where Sculpture by the lakes is, I am only a 5-minute car journey on from there.
I have attached directions below from Dorchester, Bovington, and Moreton along with an image for you of the main building, and an image of the entrance to the farm to help you find me on your first visit. I have also placed a few small signs out by the entrance to the farm, so do keep your eyes peeled. Instructions on how to get to Ilsington Farm
From Bovington:
From anywhere in Bovington go north on Bovington Lane to the end of the road at the T Junction on Clouds Hill. Turn left and follow that road to the crossroads with Waddock Drove. At the crossroads go straight over and carry straight on this road to Tincleton where the road becomes Ilsington Road. You will go past ‘Sculpture by the Lakes’ on your left, ‘Tincleton Lifestyle Centre’ on your left and ‘Tincleton Gallery’ on your right. You will be in a 30mph area, and you will reach another crossroads, on the right will be signed to Puddletown on Dark Lane and on your left will be a road to Woodsford which is Watery Lane. Ignore both of these and carry straight on, you have 0.8 miles left to go. You will go through a section of woodland on a single-track road. Carry on Ilsington Road ignoring the first two entrances you see on the left and when you reach the third you will see signs for Holistic Hands of Purbeck and Ilsington Farmhouse. Turn left and head straight down the drive. Get to the end by the newly renovated building and straight after turn left where you will see the Granary Building ahead of you with the Holistic Hands of Purbeck sign. You have arrived and park in front of the Granary Building.
From Moreton
Starting from Moreton Train Station, you are 3.5 miles away, head north east on the B3390 and at the next junction/crossroads turn left onto the road signed to Woodsford and Tincleton. Drive down this road for about a mile where will see a right turn which is Watery Lane. Turn right and head up Watery Lane until you get to the junction with Ilsington Road and Dark Lane in Tincleton. Turn left onto Islington Lane, you have 0.8 miles to go. You will go through a section of woodland on a single track road. Carry on Ilsington Road ignoring the first two entrances you see on the left and when you reach the third you will see signs for Holistic Hands of Purbeck and Ilsington Farmhouse. Turn left and head straight down the drive. Get to the end by the newly renovated building and straight after turn left where you will see the Granary Building ahead of you with the Holistic Hands of Purbeck sign. From Dorchester
Starting from the roundabout in Dorchester Town Centre where London Road meets The Grove and Bridport Road. You are 4.5 miles away. Head east and downhill on London Road (B3150) and follow this road out of town to the roundabout with the A35. Go straight over the roundabout and up Hollow Hill past Kingston Maurward and through Bockhampton. You will go past Dorset Coffee on your left and the road then becomes Ilsington Road. Once you have reached Dorset Coffee you still have 1.2 miles to go. Carry straight on Ilsington Road where you will see signs on your right hand side for Holistic Hands of Purbeck and Ilsington Farmhouse where you need to turn rightand head straight down the drive. Get to the end by the newly renovated building and straight after turn left where you will see the Granary Building ahead of you with the Holistic Hands of Purbeck sign. You have arrived and park in front of the Granary Building.
